Beverly Wanda (Strojny) Dorosz, 95, wife of 69 years of the late Adolph (Al) Dorosz, died on Friday, August 16, at home after a brief illness. Born in Taunton, Mass., she was the daughter of Michael and Rosalie (Lozinski) Strojny. After graduating from Taunton High School and Bristol County Business School, Wanda was employed as a bookkeeper at several Taunton businesses. At the start of WWII, she and Al moved to Bridgeport, Conn., where Wanda worked as a records administrator and Al as an aircraft designer. In 1946, the couple built, by hand, a house in Beverly, where they raised sons, Edward and David. During her 67 years in Beverly, Wanda worked for 17 years as a cashier and office bookkeeper at Henry Market. Many patrons there became longtime friends, remembering Wanda friendly manner and willingness to solve any problem.

Methuen Pauline L. Dion, 87, of Methuen, died on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Sutton Hill Retirement Center, N. Andover. Mrs. Dion was born and raised in Lawrence and was a graduate of St. Ann High School and was a graduate of St. John Hospital School of Nursing, Lowell. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the emergency room of St. John Hospital for many years. Pauline was very involved with Girl Scouts and served as the leader of The Girl Scout Troop at St. Augustine Parish, Lawrence. She was a member of The Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel at St. Benedicts Center, Still River, Mass., and was also an attendant of Sacred Heart Parish, Lawrence. Pauline was very dedicated to her church and had a deep love for The Traditional Faith and bringing people to God. She had a passion for the love of Jesus and had a special devotion to The Blessed Mother for the many rosaries that she said.
